According to a recent leak, Samsung is expected to unveil its next generation of foldables on July 22. Ahead of the rumored launch, new information about the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Wide has surfaced online.
A new report claims that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The foldable is said to weigh around 210 grams and measure just 4.1mm in thickness when unfolded.
The report also suggests that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 successor will retain the 200MP primary rear camera, while the ultrawide sensor will be upgraded to 50MP. The selfie cameras are tipped to remain unchanged, with the 10MP sensor continuing to be used. This is in line with old leaks.
Additionally, the device is rumored to have a 5,000mAh battery, which confirms an earlier leak in March. The foldable is said to support fast 45W wired charging.
Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Wide is likely to feature a 7.6-inch inner display with a 4:3 aspect ratio.
The device is also said to have a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor and a 50MP ultrawide lens. Other rumors include a 4,800mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging and a weight of around 200 grams. Once again, these details are in line with recent leaks.
