have you heard rec league? Oh my god, this is so much fun to play with. Basically, it’s an app where you recommend things to friends: clothes, lipstick, bedding, etc., but also books and movies, or family recipes, or travel guides, or just brilliant life hacks. anything goes!

For example, someone recommended cry.

And two dollar bill.

And Cookie Recipe.

And Favorite Books.

And travel ideas.

And a regular cup of waterWhich made me laugh out loud.
To be honest I almost feel nervous rec league. It brings together all the best parts of the old-fashioned Internet: it’s joyful, creative, expressive, and life-affirming. You learn about fun things and the people who share them. And it gives you good information when you want – Recently, I searched for good flip flops and came up with these colorblock beauties.
I like to follow people with good ideas and discoveries, including…

prop stylist gin branchWho has the best party hacks…

my friend alison With a playful, colorful style…

space CampA home organizing firm (they also found a ton of cool trash cans)…

and my own! Setting up a rec league is really fun and satisfying. When you add a link (or upload a photo), the app offers to silhouette the image, making everything look incredibly nice. And you can create whatever categories you want, like “Chicago Restaurants” or “Spring Outfit Wishlist” or “Books that Changed My Life.” even “Potato.”
will you join rec league? I want to follow you guys!!! here’s mineAnd please share your own link below. Everyone will enjoy being together there. My friend calls it “a video game for design-y people”, which makes me laugh. xoxo
PS More information: pajamas! first dance song! Sitting in front of his house and talking to his neighbors!
