Taylor Frankie Paul has officially purchased his own home, weeks after his alleged domestic violence case involving his ex-wife Dakota Mortensen was dismissed.
the The Secret Life of Mormon Wives The star shared the good news on her Instagram on Monday with a montage video.
​”Officially a solo home owner and thanks to the best real estate agent in Utah (Lian May, her mom),” she wrote on May 18.
​Sharing her raw emotions on becoming a homeowner, Taylor said, “I see sadness through excitement but I’m trying.”
In the video, Taylor can be seen signing some legal papers and finalizing the deal, while she excitedly posed and danced in the hall of her new home holding a large key-shaped cutout as confetti fell all around her.
“I closed on my first house and I got the keys to it,” he reads in the video.
​This comes days after she shared an update about buying the house she was previously renting.
“I just bought my first house, (I was) renting for years,” she shared via her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, May 6.
Buying her own home feels like a breath of fresh air for Taylor after a tumultuous few months, where she faced personal and professional struggles.

​However, local police closed the case in April after Taylor declined to file charges.
