Most robot mowers are designed for easy lawn mowing. The flat ones. The ones that don’t have hills, dense grass or big oak trees that cast shade everywhere. If your yard really has some character, many robotic mowers will struggle. Limo One Plus Robotic Mower Made differently. This is the second generation machine from a company that raised over $7.4 million on Kickstarter with its first model, and that’s double the amount of attention it got.
Built for lawns that really put up a fight
The first thing you notice about the Lymow One Plus is the track system. It does not use wheels as you might expect from a traditional lawn mower. Instead, it runs on rubber tracks, like you see on heavy machinery. This is what makes the real difference when it comes to slope. According to Limo, the OnePlus can handle slopes of up to 45 degrees and climb obstacles up to 2.8 inches high. This includes roots, rocks, uneven ground and even muddy patches. Tracked design maintains grip where wheels slip.
The cutting system is where the Limo One Plus really shines. OnePlus uses the company’s LyCut System 2.0. It has dual rotary blades made of SK5 tool steel that rotate at 6,000 RPM. This is a big change from the usual small swing blade used by most robot mowers. It also has a cyclone airflow design that pulls flat grass straight through before it reaches the blades.

This results in cleaner, more consistent cuts across a variety of grasses, including warm-season grasses like St. Augustine and Bermuda, or cool-season varieties like Kentucky bluegrass and tall fescue. The cutting height adjusts between 1.2 and 4 inches, and the deck floats over the terrain rather than being fixed, so it adapts as the ground changes.
In terms of efficiency, the OnePlus One covers up to 1.73 acres per day with fast 10A charging. A single charge provides about three hours of runtime and coverage of about half an acre. If you’re comparing robot mowers for larger properties, the per day coverage numbers put it in a different league from most consumer-grade options.
smart navigation without wires

One good feature of OnePlus is that it does not use limit wires. This is a big deal if you’ve ever encountered the setup hassles required with traditional robotic mowers. Instead, the Lymow One Plus uses RTK-VSLAM navigation, which combines satellite positioning with visual mapping. It handles open skies as well as shady areas under trees, switching between satellite data and camera-based positioning depending on environmental demands. The RTK base station covers a range of up to 3,200 feet, and the system can store up to 15 acres of maps.

Obstacle avoidance is powered by AI vision with five ultrasonic sensors and two Hall sensors. The system has been trained on real-world yard scenarios and can identify over 20 common outdoor objects. It recognizes things like garden chairs, toys and fences and routes around them without requiring your intervention. If it somehow gets above the ground, the blades stop immediately. It also has a physical emergency stop button that stops the blade rotation in under a second.
The Lymow app connects it all together. You can set up to 80 different mowing zones, schedule runs, adjust cutting height and speed, and choose mowing patterns right from your phone. The app also includes anti-theft features: a PIN lock, real-time GPS tracking, and geofence alerts if the mower leaves a designated area.
Built to last all season

The OnePlus is built with a reinforced A380 automotive-grade aluminum alloy frame. It has been FEM stress tested during development. This is the same type of structural engineering approach that is used in the automotive industry. The LiFePO4 battery is rated for 2,000 charge cycles. This means you should be able to squeeze out years of regular use before you notice some degradation. The entire unit is IPX6 rated, so rain, mud and debris aren’t a problem.
At 78.5 pounds, this isn’t a machine you’ll often move by hand. However, when the battery gets low or when rain is detected it will park itself at a charging station, then pick up where it left off when conditions are right. The charging deck automatically flips up for cleaning. No disassembly required.
Pricing & Availability

Limo One Plus Robotic Mower Now available for $2,699Down from the original $2,999 launch price. For anyone who pays for a regular lawn service or spends their weekends behind a pusher or mower, the math can quickly start to seem reasonable.
For Gen 1 Limo One owners who are considering an upgrade, the company is also running a trade-in program with up to 40% off. Just note that the blades and batteries are not cross-compatible between the two generations. If you’re looking at the robotic mower range and waiting for something built to handle a real yard, it might be worth checking out.
