Google’s focus on agentic AI software has largely reshaped its overall approach to Gemini, as shown for example with the unveiling of Gemini Spark. With this in mind, the company also announced “Android Hello”, which essentially acts as a To keep track of the ongoing activities of your agent assistant Through your Android phone.
In a way, Android Hello acts as a kind of notification system, and Google says it gives you current updates on the status of your agents through “micro-communications” that will appear at the top of your phone’s display — visible when the agent is working on a task, working in live mode, or when it messages a user. This way, users can quickly see at a glance what their agent is doing.
As for availability, Google says Android Hello will launch later in the year, and will be compatible with Gemini Spark and several other AI agents. Google didn’t specify which phone brands will support the feature, though we can expect more details in the coming months.
