a conversation in heaven
“I will raise up for me a faithful priest, who will do according to my heart and mind. I will establish his house, and he will minister before my anointed forever.” (1 Sam 2:35-36).
I once imagined a meeting in heaven between the angel Gabriel and Jesus. It went something like this: “Gabriel, I chose 12 people from the workplace to form my church. They were an unexpected group. But I wanted to express my life to such people where they spend most of their time and experience most of their challenges. However, today we have a problem. My church is not being represented in the workplace. Therefore, I have decided to call a number of people to serve me in this area. We must awaken the church in the workplace.
There is a person in Atlanta, Georgia, America. He reminds me of my servant Jacob. Boy, how manipulative and controlling he was before I worked on him. Now you remember that Jacob became one of the patriarchs! This Atlanta businessman also has the same ability. He is our man who wakes up our servants. However, in order to awaken him to My plan and My destiny for him, I must remove some things that he trusts. This will draw him towards me. This will be painful at first, but necessary. This will take 7 years. But I plan to restore what I took from him. The result will be quite surprising. That will include many others. That will establish a whole new focus in my church that has been lost since those early days. I plan to do the same with many others. I plan to raise an army in these last days before I return. Now it’s time for you to go. You know what you should do. Be gentle with my servant, but be firm.”
What kind of conversation about your life could happen between Jesus and the angel? What catalyst do you need to bring you into line with God’s purposes and plans?
