The reception at Buckingham Palace following Princess Beatrice and Eugenie’s pregnancy announcement appears to have split the two sides into opposite camps.
While King Charles is said to have been surprised by the warmth with which he reacted to the news, sources have now warned that it may be a sadder thing for others at the most senior levels of the company.
Related insiders spoke to women’s day to give his conclusions and was quoted as saying, “He and Jack were quite surprised by the warmth of the palace’s response.”
According to the source, “He feared a cold reception, but the king reached out and asked his officials to make a formal announcement.”
It’s also worth mentioning that Prince William initially believed the same and did not want to be “tainted by the sins of his father and the foolishness of both parents” but this has changed since the release of the Epstein files.
Furthermore, “the way he and Katherine have not publicly welcomed the baby news is a sign of how much things have changed.”
