Ivanka Trump is sending her love to her former sister-in-law Vanessa after announcing her breast cancer diagnosis.
Vanessa announced on her Instagram handle on Wednesday that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
“Although this is not the news anyone expected,” she began. “I am working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan.”
“I am surrounded by the love and support of my family, my children, and those closest to me, and I am focused and hopeful,” Vanessa said.
For those who don’t know, the 48-year-old American model has five children with her ex-husband, Donald Trump Jr. – Kai, 19, Donald III, 17, Tristan, 14, Spencer, 13, and Khloe, 11. The couple ended their relationship in 2018 after 12 years of marriage.
In the post, Vanessa also thanked her followers for their kindness and support.
She concluded, “I ask for privacy as I focus on my health and recovery.”
Ivanka was among the first to comment on the post and offered her support after Vanessa revealed the news.
She wrote, “Praying for your continued strength and speedy recovery. Love you mama.”
Vanessa’s daughter Kai also showed support for her mother, writing, “Strongest person I know. Love you.”
