Spotify has introduced a new feature called Personal Podcasts, which lets users create personal AI-powered podcasts. These personalized podcasts can also be scheduled and will be tailored to the user’s interests and listening habits.
Users will soon be able to create these podcasts directly within the Spotify app through the new Personal Podcasts feature. All they need to do is enter a text prompt describing what type of podcast they want, and Spotify will create a personalized episode.
As mentioned earlier, users will also have the option to schedule recurring podcasts, such as a daily briefing or weekly roundup.
Users will be able to add context to generated podcasts using links, PDFs, text, and other sources. They can make further changes to the prompt and even choose a different voice for the AI-generated podcast. Episodes will remain private and can be accessed through your Library section.

Spotify says the Personal Podcasts feature will roll out to Premium users in the US in June. Users will receive a set number of monthly credits for podcast generation, with the option to purchase additional credits if needed.
