Prince Philip did not like the company of his former daughter-in-law Sarah Ferguson.
It appears the former Duke of Edinburgh believes Sarah Ferguson didn’t know what it meant to be a royal.
During an appearance on the podcast, “The Firm: Blood, Lies, and Royal Succession,” royal expert and biographer Jane Dismore shared
“(Philip) didn’t like Fergie (Sarah Ferguson) – she knew she wasn’t welcome when Prince Philip was around.” Dismore added, “She is someone Prince Philip will have nothing to do with.”
Dismore explained, “Ferguson’s idea of being a royal was best summed up by one of the courtiers, who said, ‘Vulgar, vulgar, obscene.’ “She had no idea what it really meant to be a royal. It wasn’t just a terrible lapse of judgment. It was an attitude towards royal life.”
“(H)e hates Fergie so much he can’t bear to be in the same place with her,” a source told Express at the time.
