Today, AWOL Vision announced an extensive new entertainment lineup focused on backyard movie nights, game watches, gaming and oversized living room setups. The launch includes the new Atherion Pro ultra-short-throw projector, the Valerian Max theater package, new color variants of the Valerian Pro 2, as well as an inflatable screen designed for the outdoors.
With this latest launch, the company is positioning its projectors as the centerpiece of group entertainment. For this purpose, the announcement is conveniently made before a summer sporting event, including the FIFA World Cup. The launch is led by the official commercial availability of AWOL’s latest ultra-short-throw projector, the Aetherion Pro. Like other UST models, it can throw huge 4K images from inches away from the wall. The projector is built for viewing in bright rooms and has low latency and high refresh rates aimed at fast-moving content.

AWOL is also officially bringing the Valerian Max Theater Package to market. This package is for high-end home theater setups. It uses triple-laser projection technology with a heavy focus on cinematic, big-screen viewing.
Meanwhile, the Valerian Pro 2 is getting new red and purple color variants, which highlights how projector brands are starting to think like lifestyle tech companies. AWOL hopes the new colors will blend in better with game rooms and outdoor settings.
The company also announced a new Valerian inflatable outdoor screen designed for backyard viewing. The screen uses wrinkle-resistant washable material and should pop up in just 10 minutes, then pack away for easy storage. They also use sealed-air construction, so you’re not left with the constant blower noise you typically get with inflatable screens.
Pricing starts at $2,699 for the new Valerian Pro 2 color variant and $3,499 for the Etherion Pro. The Valerian Max Theater Package starts at $4,199 and will be available June 1. The company’s Valerian inflatable outdoor screen is scheduled to launch in July, with pricing to come.
