Apple’s upcoming iPhone 18 Pro lineup may have just leaked in full color. Newly surfaced dummy units are giving fans their clearest look yet at the new finishes expected for this year’s flagship iPhone models, which includes the return of deep cherry red and black.
Leaked dummy units shared by known Apple leaker Sonny Dixon confirm that the iPhone 18 Pro will launch in four colors: Dark Cherry, Light Blue, Silver, and Black. The leak matches previous reports that claimed Apple was testing a “deep red” finish for the device.
As per previous reports, the Dark Cherry variant is expected to have a wine-red tone rather than a brighter shade, while the Light Blue model is said to have a Mist Blue finish similar to that seen on the standard iPhone 17.
The silver option appears to be similar to the previous Pro model, while the black is reportedly replacing the existing deep blue finish.
One of the biggest surprises after the leak is the disappearance of Cosmic Orange, a unique color that made its debut as part of the iPhone 17 Pro series lineup.
While rumors suggest Apple would include this color due to its popularity, leaks indicate the company plans to take a different approach.
Dummy units are commonly produced by Apple for accessory manufacturers who wish to prepare cases and other accessories prior to a product’s launch. The units are accurate as far as dimensions and design are concerned, but colors may sometimes vary slightly from official release color schemes.
Apple is scheduled to release the iPhone 18 series later this year, and although the tech giant hasn’t confirmed any details yet, the leak has already started discussions about whether Apple was wise to ditch the Cosmic Orange or not.
