10 Things to Buy, Welcome to Beauty Edition! I’m taking my monthly curated shopping list into the world of beauty products, starting with the top 10 things to buy for summer 2026. Every month, I share with Who What Wear readers my top 10 fashion picks for shopping, and since I’m also somewhat of a self-proclaimed beauty Shopping connoisseur, I’ve taken it upon myself to share my seasonal beauty picks too.
If you follow beauty product launches somewhat closely, you’ve probably noticed that there are a ton of new releases across all categories – makeup, skin care, fragrances, nails and beauty tools included. Looking ahead to the season, beauty brands are prioritizing sunblocks, glitter products, beachy scents, and of course, UV protection. I’ve been ordering my fair share lately and can speak directly to most of my 10 selections. Overall, I feel confident in recommending 10 beauty things to follow. Read on to shop them all (and thank me later).
Nars Insatiable Longwearing Liquid Blush
Ever since I got the new Nars liquid blushes, I have been so excited to get them. My verdict is this: the color selection is exceptional, the finish is nice and glossy yet magically long-lasting, and they layer incredibly well. I wouldn’t mind buying them all, but if you want to be strategic, the following shades get my vote.
Yves Saint Laurent Skin Affair Soft Glow Cushion Foundation
Friends, it is very popular with the press. yves Saint Laurent recently launched their innovative cushion foundation, and to say I’m interested would be an understatement. The foundation’s description says it’s lightweight and breathable with medium coverage, yet long-lasting. Sounds like the perfect summer foundation. Oh, and it comes in 31 colors.
Victoria Beckham Posh Gloss in Cabana
L’Oré Sublimity Eau De Parfum with Coconut Water
Disclaimer: Lore Sublime does not own brand New, but it’s more exciting than ever. This refreshing summer scent has notes of coconut, musk and sea salt, which is how I want to smell this time of year.
Ilia Sun Serum
Ever since I got my hands on this SPF a few weeks ago, I’ve been using it exclusively. It comes in two very translucent shades and provides the perfect soft-focus base for makeup. I personally can’t stand SPF that sounds and smells like sunscreen, and it’s nothing. Bonus: It combats shine all day long.
Chanel Le Vernis Longwear Nail Color in Purple
Augustinus Bader Overnight Restorative Cream
Trust me—I’m only going to recommend something at this price point if I In fact Think it’s worth it, and Augustinus Bader Overnight Restorative Cream is just that. It feels like it’s super lightweight (perfect for summer!), and sinks right in, so you don’t get that horrible heavy night cream feeling at all. Even after only five hours of sleep, I wake up with brighter skin, less inflammation and an even complexion. The sample I’m testing is falling short, and you can bet I’ll be spending the money on a full-sized bottle.
JVN Air Dry Volumizing Wave Spray
Two things I want most in the summer are not having to touch a hair dryer and enjoying beach waves every day. I appreciate that the new JVN Air Dry Volumizing Wave Spray is salt-free and therefore devoid of the crunchy, matte look that comes with them. Instead, it will give you shiny, soft, tousled waves.
Hourglass Phantom Smoothing Blur Lip Balm
It’s always exciting news when Hourglass introduces a new product and this is a great one. Phantom Smoothing Blur Lip Balm is a lip-perfecting balm designed to provide feathery, blurred color and enhance your natural lip tone. Shade Whisper 45 is arriving on my doorstep today, and I already know it’s going to be a new favorite.
Sara Creal Eyes Up 24H Creamy Mascara Longwear Eyeliner in Rose Bronze
One of the latest shades of Sara Creal’s cult-favorite eyeliner is the most beautiful rose-gold color with subtle (not bright) glitter. It’s the perfect finishing touch to a bronzy makeup look.
