Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who was the leading run scorer and topped the Orange Cap list, will remain on top despite early losses to Shubman Gill and Sai Sudarshan in the IPL final between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Gill needed 55 runs but was out on 10 and Sai was out on 12.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi broke another record!
After the early dismissal of GT’s openers, Vaibhav Suryavanshi became the youngest Orange Cap winner of the IPL at the age of 15. The southpaw has had a sensational season for Rajasthan Royals (RR) and has carried the team on his shoulders in most of the games, delivering match-winning performances in this edition of the league.
Vaibhav has scored 776 runs in this edition of the league with an average of 48.50 and scored five half-centuries and one century. He was out three times in the 90s with scores of 93, 97 and 96 respectively. his strike rate was 237.30. The 15-year-old wonder boy took on the best bowlers in this IPL and thrashed them with a six on the very first ball.
