Didn’t you hear? marc jacobs beauty has made its triumphant return with a whole collection of eccentric, maximalist makeup that goes hand-in-hand with the designer fun runway collection. While brand loyalists who hoarded original line (which closed in 2021) Perhaps a similar sleek, monochrome aesthetic was expected, the updated range is anything but. As expressed by Marc Jacobs himself during an exclusive, editors-only preview, this new direction aims to stand out amid a sea of ”cool luxury” competitors and better align with your brand and personal style choices. Today, the entire line is finally available for purchase Sephora-Though not for long, if I may sound the alarm. Given how much excitement the much-anticipated relaunch (of the brand) has become instagram account has gained 3.6 million followers since dropping breadcrumbs over the past several weeks), I don’t expect the initial product to stick. If you’re curious about which items to bring out first, scroll ahead for my editor-tested details, plus I suspect the formulas will disappear in a jiffy.

Each product line comes with its own charm, and for the eyes, a chubby five-pointed star runs through the line (perhaps giving new meaning to the term “starry eyes”). To get started, I have to call Eyeliner drawn like thisWhich is arguably the most talked about product in the entire range. If you were an avid fan of the Marc Jacobs Highliner before it became an iconic eBay relic, you’ll be thrilled to know that the updated version has the same incredible glide and long wear. Not to mention, the 21 shades ranging from matte, metallic, and magical (aka glitter and duochrome) have the best color payoff I’ve ever seen from an eyeliner. Even glitter formulas (which often read perfectly clear) have a dramatic effect with just one swipe. And once it dries? Waterproof formula doesn’t dare budge. True story: The first time I applied this on my hand, it took several micellar-soaked cotton balls to scrub off the pigment.
kajal shines Absolutely vibrant, covering each eyelash with ink, chocolate, or cobalt pigments. Marc Jacobs’ previous mascara was beloved for mimicking the look of falsies (“I actually cried when it was discontinued,” Who What Wear’s assistant shopping editor Josephine Hadjiloukas messaged me after hearing whispers of a brand revival), and this new formula similarly focuses on volume while infusing tiny wisps with peptides and clover flower extract.
Eye category to be completed born star eyeshadowIncluding luxurious cream-to-powder formulas that resemble Mylar balloons in a shiny, star-shaped compact. As you can probably guess, the pigmentation here is also pretty intense. All I need is one swipe with my fingers for both lashes. However, it glides on effortlessly with a little extra blending, so it’s an A+ for a smoky, soft-grunge eye look. However, the playful packaging is what ultimately sells it to me. It might not be the most practical option to pile on your vanity, but it will sure bring you the most joy. Since receiving my samples, I haven’t been able to stop opening and closing the compact, marveling at how the duochrome pigment catches the light.

To be honest, I’ve always found the term “lipstick balm” a little confusing. While I realize it is meant to be a hybrid product – the richness of a Lipstick with the comfort of a balm – Most options either seem too sheer for my liking or don’t really work on the hydration front. Marc Jacobs’s heart on lipstick– topped with a metallic heart charm – made me a total believer. Sure, I can see that the formula contains cherry oil, hyaluronic acid, and peptides, but can you really? feel Do those MVPs work their magic with every glide? Take it from me: Yes, you absolutely can. The 15 shades are incredibly juicy yet deposit enough color to last for several hours, even after eating and drinking. Since adding these to my routine I have been constantly switching between the two shades below.

All complexion products are adorned with the iconic daisy motif, highlighting petal-soft skin and fresh blooms of complexion. I can’t think of any product that captures the dreamy image better than this Joystick Blush StickWhich melts into the skin and dries into a soft powder. Of all the blush sticks available on the market, this creamy number is one of the most versatile, with 10 shades ranging from rosy pink to fiery orange, red, and purple. This is one of the more expensive options in the $35 range, but a little goes a long way; Like the rest of the collection, it’s highly pigmented, so you just need a dab on each cheek for stunning color.
Another thing that will stay with you for a while is Legally BronzeWhich (surprise, surprise) has a surprising benefit with a smooth, seamless blending, meaning you can pack the pigment on a contour brush to sculpt your cheekbones or lightly dust it onto your features with a powder brush for a warm, all-embracing glow. Both routes will leave you beautifully bronzed.
Ultimately, we have Money Shot Highlighter GelWhich is basically the summer makeup product of my dreams. Use it on your cheeks! Your eyelashes! Your collarbones! You’ll end up with a megawatt glow that looks out of this world—or, as the Marc Jacobs team calls it, “stroboscopic.” I already know this cool, water-based jelly will become my secret weapon for the “wet” eye look (my favorite trick for hiding summer sweat), because its light-reflecting beads have the most beautiful holographic shine. You can find me wearing this—and only this—all season long.

Is Marc Jacobs Beauty Worth Buying?
I’m probably stating the obvious here for Marc Jacobs Beauty devotees, but the relaunch isn’t actually a one-to-one swap for the original 2013 line. While the products are just as richly pigmented and long lasting in my opinion, the packaging and formula are completely unique from their predecessors. They’re basically apples and oranges. Still, I believe the 2026 collection stands on its own, especially in a crowded market where designer items cost three times as much.
As far as the formulas I recommend first and foremost? Well, I would say that there is a huge risk of selling all eye products, especially their Eyeliners made like thisConsidering how many beauty fans went bananas in exchange for those OG pencils. born star eyeshadow They also deserve a spot in your routine for their packaging alone — but the incredible pigment payoff certainly doesn’t hurt. I’ll end my top three with this Money Shot Highlighter GelNamely because it’s the most beautifully multitasking product I’ve seen in a minute and gives a different experience than other balms or liquid highlighters on the market. Granted, I think the entire line would sell out in a flash, but if I were a betting beauty editor, I’d bet those three would be the first to go. God’s grace!
