Kate Hudson’s son Ryder is about to make his family proud by achieving a milestone.
During a recent episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy FallonHudson, who shares her 22-year-old son with ex-husband Chris Robinson, revealed that Ryder will graduate from New York University in May 2026.
The 47-year-old American actress and singer-songwriter said her son will become the first person in her family’s history to graduate from college.
Expressing her love and pride she said, “He’s not a baby. Ryder is 22 years old. He’s graduating from college in two weeks.”
“We realize, I think, and I may misunderstand this and offend some of my family’s generation, but I think he’s the first person in my family’s history to graduate from college,” Hudon quipped.
running point The star added that Ryder has had an amazing experience at New York University and is now “ready to take on the world.”
Notably, this revelation came after Hudson revealed Today on April 21, where he told host Craig Melvin about his son’s interest in home decor.
The mom said, “He loves designing furniture, and he’s making a sofa right now, which I’m really excited about. I’m like, ‘Maybe go in that direction, Ryder.'”
It’s worth mentioning that Kate Hudson is also mother to son Bingham Hawn Bellamy, whom she welcomed with her ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy, while she welcomed her daughter Queen Rose with her fiance Danny Fujikawa.
