Shailene Woodley recently opened up and revealed how different she is from them Heaven Character Annie Clay.
For those unaware, Woodley played the lead survivor Clay, whose story was inspired by Sterling K. Agent Xavier Collins, played by Brown.
On Tuesday, April 27, she appeared at Disney’s Toast to Television event in Los Angeles, where she talked about her involvement in the post-apocalyptic thriller’s second season.
while talking to People Magazine, the 34-year-old American actress shared, “Annie and I are really very different, it was fun to play someone who was so different from who I am.”
“I think one point of the relationship is that we are both quite flexible, but the way we exercise that flexibility is different,” she explained. “I’m an emotional roller coaster sometimes and I think Annie is quite linear in her approach and practicality.”
Woodley confessed that she “only read one episode” of Paradise, adding, “I had talked to (creator) Dan Fogelman about Annie’s arc, so I knew what was going to happen, but I hadn’t actually read it.”
Point to be noted is that big little lies Starr had no idea how things would turn out, but she “knew how it would end, but I didn’t know all the developments in between. There was no script.”
It is worth mentioning Heaven Season 2, which premiered on February 23, 2026 on Hulu, concluded on March 30, 2026. The show featured a cast including James Marsden, Julianne Nicholson, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Thomas Doherty, Charlie Evans, Sarah Shahi and others.
