Seth Rogen, the force behind the hit Apple TV+ drama studioHas won a BAFTA TV Award for his show.
But while winning the top award, the actor didn’t forget Catherine O’Hara.
“She meant so much to all of us; I think she meant the same to you here,” the actor said when deciding to present the BAFTA award to the late actress. Who died on January 30 this year.
However, this isn’t the first time the actor has paid tribute to O’Hara, who played Patti Leigh on the series.
At the Actors Awards, where the late star won posthumously for his role studio, Rogen accepted the award and became emotional while giving a speech.
“On behalf of O’Hara, I have the sad honor of accepting this award,” he said. “I know she would be honored to receive this award from her fellow cast mates, I know she respected them so much. She was a huge fan of all of you.”
He further added, “Obviously, I miss the time that I had the privilege of spending with him, working with him.”
“And the thing I’ve been amazed at over the last few weeks was really his ability to be generous and kind, while never diminishing his ability to contribute to the work we were doing.”
