The X1 Pro was launched just about two months ago, and it has already garnered a 4.7-star rating on Amazon. Claiming to be the world’s first smart AI dual-tracking security camera, Baseus equips the X1 Pro with two 3K cameras that allow it to track two moving targets simultaneously, while also offering up to 300 degrees of horizontal motion. It also includes color and black-and-white night vision, 8x digital zoom and motion detection, as well as AI recognition for people, faces, pets, and vehicles.
On the practical side. The camera has a 3W solar panel and a 7,800mAh battery rated by Baseus for up to 150 days of battery life. Baseus also says that just 20 minutes of sunlight can provide 24 hours of runtime, although, naturally, this figure will depend largely on placement and your local weather forecast.
One nice thing is that the X1 Pro doesn’t force you into the subscription route. It supports up to 512GB of local storage via microSD, which is still one of the easiest ways to make a security camera more attractive. A lot of smart cameras seem reasonably priced until you realize that they actually want you to pay every month to get the most out of them.
