Where do we go?”. influencer Kaylee Campbell said, reposting Abbott’s video. “What does Greg have that makes him say that,” the influencer said. The video in question is from Diwali celebrations, not recent. “As long as I am governor of this great state, Texas will remain a land for the Indian community… and we will continue to celebrate Diwali here in the great state of Texas,” Abbott said in the video. Republican leader Alexander Duncan said, “How outrageous is @GregAbbott_TX. Promoting every third world culture there is and doing nothing to protect Texas: ‘Texas will be a land for the Indians’.” The attack on Abbott comes at a time when hatred among Indians is on the rise, especially in Texas, as the state has a large number of immigrants, including Indians.
