Bruce Willis and his family are reportedly determined to make the most of their time together.
According to the latest report of RadarOnline.comThe family is currently working with a singular focus to maximize the quality of each remaining moment spent with the 71-year-old star.
Sharing more details, an insider explained, “The entire family is dedicated to making Bruce’s life as comfortable and happy as possible. They’re making the best of whatever time they have left.”
The insider even said that the sad truth is that “no one knows how much time Bruce has.”
While clinical data from places like the Cleveland Clinic suggest that life expectancy after onset of symptoms is seven to 13 years, the source revealed the daily anxiety of not knowing whether Bruce is experiencing a “plateau” or a sudden decline. It is this uncertainty that makes “putting on a happy face” so emotionally difficult for her loved ones.
It comes after Willis’s wife of 18 years, Emma Heming Willis, gave a candid account of the disease, highlighting the distinctive cruelty of FTD.
For those who don’t know, the couple married in 2009 and have two daughters, Mabel, 13, and Evelyn, 11.
Reportedly, things were going great for the couple until Willis was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in 2022.
“All forms of dementia are frightening and terrible,” Hemming recalled declaring, “but what I had heard… is that FTD is the worst of the worst.”
