One of the things I love most about my Pixel 10 Pro is Pixelsnap. Having a magnet on the back, rather than relying on a case, is perfect for using my phone. I use magnets to attach my Pixel to wall mounts, chargers, battery packs, and other things.
Recently, I bought something I didn’t expect to like so much, and it’s become my favorite Pixel 10 accessory.

My wife uses the PopSocket with her phone, and when I tried out her magnetic PopSocket I was surprised at how much more comfortable it was to hold my Pixel 10 Pro. However, I wasn’t a fan of how heavy it was. It seemed too big for my pocket, and I wasn’t a fan of the look either. Going to Amazon to find something that better suits my needs, I have to “magnetic phone ring holderBy Boardsec.
The first thing I like about the Ring is that, when it’s folded over the front of the phone, it’s slightly thicker than the Pixel’s camera bar. It doesn’t shake the phone on the desk, nor do I feel it when I have my Pixel in my pocket.
With the ring flipped out, it serves its main purpose well – I can hold my 10 Pro in one hand without worrying about dropping it. The magnetic connection is strong, and the rubberized surface didn’t scratch my phone, even though I frequently rotated the ring to change its position. Changing the position of the ring is something I do regularly, thanks to the other functions it provides.
This phone ring is the most convenient phone stand I have ever used. I’ve had cases with built-in kickstands, but they’re never adjustable enough, and at times they’ll only hold the phone in landscape, not portrait. The ring, which has two hinges with no play, makes it easy to stand my Pixel at any angle or orientation I want. I can’t overstate how strong these hinges are – even my Z Fold 7, in its dbrand grip, can be lifted up, folded, or opened.

Whether I hold the phone in portrait when I’m listening to music at my desk or in landscape when I’m watching YouTube, this Ring has replaced the dedicated phone stands I have around my house. The small section of the ring, the part where you put your finger, is magnetic and is heavy enough to hold the phone in place even if it is stretched around anything.

I’m spending this week on the south-west coast of Britain and this ring has proven useful here too. With the frustratingly strong wind, trying to hold my phone steady when taking photos, especially telephoto shots, would have been difficult if I wasn’t able to steady it with the ring. I haven’t had a chance to try it out yet, but I’m hoping I’ll be able to use it to prop up the Pixel 10 Pro for some long-exposure and astrophotography before I head home from the trip.
for $10I couldn’t be happier with my purchase, and it’s easily my favorite Pixel 10 Pro accessory.
Do you have a favorite phone accessory you wouldn’t use your phone without? I would love to hear about it.
