Sarah Pidgeon as Caroline Bessette Kennedy love story That may have come to an end, but that doesn’t mean there will be an end to her enviable style moments. Of course, we’ll miss her impeccable recreation of Bessette’s iconic wardrobe, but Pidgeon is stylish in her own right, whether she’s walking the red carpet or being photographed among the shoes in Paris during Fashion Week. Need more proof? His travel attire should prove useful at Australia’s Gold Coast Airport this week.
Pidgeon, who is currently filming another project called honeymoon with harryBoarded a flight at an Australian hub, wearing every French girl’s jeans and shoes combination. YesI said “jeans” and “airport” in the same sentence, and NoI am not condemning it. There are certain denim styles and sizes that I will never wear on a flight, especially long denim, but there are always exceptions. And I’m here to tell you that I’d take flying over Pigeon’s favorite version any day.

For her flight, Pidgeon ditched sweatpants and leggings, instead choosing to wear blue jeans with a slightly roomy fit (not to be confused with baggy jeans), styling them with black ballet flats, a white V-neck T-shirt, and a red cardigan. She completed her look with sunglasses not dissimilar to those worn by Bessette from Selima Optic. The outfit was carefree yet put together, it had a timelessness that was perfectly accented by the pop of red. I’m sorry, but sweats or leggings will never have the same effect. This is not possible.
However, what really made the look was its French-girl influence. His Jeans and flats are a pair I see on the country’s women all the time, whether they live in its capital, Paris, like Museer Paris founder Anne Laure Maes, or in other stylish cities like London, in the case of Camille Charrière. The trick is to never wear jeans that are too fitted, otherwise you risk going 2010s era. Instead, choose a relaxed fit and simple flats, from the traditional ballet style to the simple Mary-Jane. You can also try a metallic pair à la charrière.
Ahead, take a look before your next flight. Don’t be afraid of denim on flights. When done right, it’s perfect for airport attire.
