Thoughts on today’s verse…
because jesus is ours God And the Savior, God is in our lives. He is at work right now, destroying Satan’s destructive manipulations and leading us into the relationships and places He wants us to be as His salt and keep the world safe, and His light to shine in dark places and bring hope for a better future (Matthew 6:13-16). This is true in everything we do and wherever we go. This is true when we think things are good and when we think things are terrible. The main thing for us is to seek His purpose, do His will, and share His grace. If this is our goal, we can be assured of our God, and He is with us every step of the way, working out everything for our eternal good, no matter how things look from moment to moment.

My prayer…
Lord, thank you for being at work in my life. Thank you for not leaving me alone with my limited best efforts, insights and options. Thank you for making a plan for me and assuring that I can’t mess it up if I want Your will, live for Your purpose, and love You. Even my mistakes can be atoned for, my sins can be forgiven, and my faults can be corrected. After all, You are my God, my Father, and my Redeemer companion throughout life, who is working to make me like You. In the name of Jesus, I thank you. Amen.
