Natalie Portman became the face of one of the most prestigious jewelry houses in the world. Tiffany & Co. has named the Academy Award-winning actress as its newest global House ambassador, and launched a print campaign that showcases New York City at its best.

The images, captured by photographer Gordon von Steiner at Tiffany’s famous Fifth Avenue flagship, The Landmark, are extremely glamorous and intimate. Portman appears in front of a moody Manhattan skyline, completely wrapped in black, letting the jewelry do the talking.

And that says a lot. She wears Hardwear by Tiffany, Knot by Tiffany, Sixteen Stones by Tiffany and Tee by Tiffany. The designs include bold gold chains, diamond studded rings and delicate rose gold bracelets that balance edge with sophistication.
One shot features long black gloves which pushes the whole thing into Old Hollywood territory. “It is an honor to be Tiffany & Co.’s newest global House Ambassador,” said Portman.
In beauty news, Portman also serves as the face of Miss Dior Essence.
