If you live in New York, it’s hard to avoid the Paloma Woolliness of style. I notice it everywhere, whether it’s a bag on the subway or one of the brand’s dresses in its signature Cupro fabric. In my own friend group, costumes are especially popular. If you pass by the Soho flagship on any given weekend, you’ll see a line out the door.
It’s become a cult favorite, known for its dreamy, conceptual approach to everyday dressing, featuring pieces that feel restrained and playful. Personally, I like how the designs feel both timeless and unexpected, or what is thought of as “artistic minimalism.”

Animal print isn’t typically in the Paloma Wool wheelhouse or my own wardrobe. That said, I appreciate the brand stepping out from its niche with this tiger print (seen recently) Chanel, Gucci, and Alaïa shows), and this sounds like a fun option for spring if you’re looking for the ultimate in it all.

I was at a dinner party recently, where someone was wearing a little cape, and a few weeks later at a birthday, I saw another thing. Seeing this on the runway at Paloma Wool confirmed my suspicions: little hats will be trending this spring.

The bright blue color appeared on the Paloma Wool runway in several forms: stockings, tops and capris. Below, you can shop brands like Trend Banana Republic, Peachy Den, Zara, and more.

Another trend outside of my normal wardrobe is soft pink. Ever since I got a color analysis done and found out I’m a soft autumn, I’ve been considering dusty rose pieces because they seem to suit me. I’m currently eyeing Paloma Wool’s mohair-alpaca blend Tantal Cardigan or Realization’s The Fleur.

I recently wrote about how Asymmetrical hems automatically make any outfit more interesting. As someone who wears a lot of basics, I think this is an easy way to make a simple item unique.

It took me a while to get used to wearing capris, but I wore capris consistently last spring, so I loved seeing them on the Paloma Wool S/S 26 runway.
