Prince William visits Bournemouth as part of Homewards, his initiative to tackle homelessness
William took to his official Instagram account to share some glimpses of his outing at the beach, just hours after hosting a state banquet for the Nigerian president.
It is worth mentioning that, to fight against youth homelessness, the Prince of Wales established the Homewards project in 2023.
She wrote: “Looking at how @homewardsuk is reshaping youth homelessness prevention in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
“Joining international delegations to explore how Homewards’ early intervention model can help prevent youth homelessness in the first place.”
As the charity’s work has attracted international attention, global representatives from Belgium, Australia, Finland, Canada and the Netherlands traveled to Bournemouth to learn from it.
The caption concluded, “At the Bourne Academy I will continue to hear how schools and frontline organizations are working together to support young people and reduce the risk of future homelessness.”
William’s mission to curb homelessness was born when he visited shelters as a child, which left a lasting impression on him.
