Savannah Guthrie has received huge support from one of her former colleagues, Hoda Kotb, who has returned to host the “Today” show while Guthrie focuses on finding her mother, Nancy.
Savannah shared a fresh statement on Instagram as the search for her mother Nancy enters its seventh week.
She appealed to her neighbors, friends, and residents of Tucson, Arizona to refresh their memories in hopes of finding new clues in her mother’s disappearance.
The family said in their statement that they believe someone in Tucson or southern Arizona “may hold the key to finding solutions to this case.”
The family’s statement further read, “Somebody knows something. It’s possible that a member of this community has information they don’t know is important.”
It says, “Please consult camera footage, journal notes, text messages, observations, or conversations that may hold retrospective significance. No detail is too small.”
Fans and friends reacted to the statement with heartbreaking comments.
“Will be praying for you and your entire family all the time,” says one fan.
Another said, “I start every morning with a prayer to bring your mother home. And then I remember her and pray throughout the day. I hope that when I turn on the news or social media, I’ll see a post that she has been found. She is America’s mother and grandmother. We pray for the day she will be returned to her family.”
Friends Hoda Kotb, Amy Robach and Mindy Kaling also reacted to the statement by pressing heart buttons.
