King Charles and his disgraced younger brother Andrew Mountbatten Windsor have been compared for their personalities by former staff members.
His Majesty and the former prince, who are 12 years apart from each other, treat staff like opposite ends of a coin.
Dickie Arbiter, who served as press secretary to the late Queen Elizabeth II, tells The Eye Paper: “You’re essentially working in an office; there are quite a few valuable paintings on the walls.”
He then described Charles as “good to work for, good to work for”.
Meanwhile, Dai Davies, a former security officer, says: “I found him boorish and ignorant.”
“I found the other members absolutely pleasant,” he said. “I was treated civilly. Charles was polite.”
Davis also talked about the late Princess Diana. He said: “Diana, I liked her very much. When I started, she said to me: ‘Oh poor guy, do you know what you’ve done?'”
