Donald Trump claims Iran has asked the US for a ceasefire – but the president has vowed to continue attacking the rogue state until the Strait of Hormuz is liberated.
It comes as Trump prepares to address the world tonight, in which he is expected to outline a timeline for ending the war.
Announcing the shocking update on Truth Social, Trump wrote: “The President of the new regime of Iran, far less radical and far more intelligent than his predecessors, has asked the United States for a ceasefire!
“We will consider when the Strait of Hormuz will be open, free and clear. Until then, we will push Iran into oblivion or, as they say, send back to the Stone Age!!!”
