Claire Rosinkranz is booked and busy. Amidst the turmoil of rising fame and being on the road, the artist has found time to enter a new season of his creative and personal journey.
Rosinkranz joined me from her beachside home in California, where summer-like temperatures are already approaching.
“It’s already so hot here. I haven’t had to jump in the ocean yet, but I live on the beach so it’s great. You can go out and you can get a tan right now.”
She has released her second album, my lover, one who presents a weak point of view
The pop star’s journey into adulthood – learning to balance mind, body and spirit with her artistic practice.
“While making this album…I was still recovering from my health journey. I was beginning to find myself again.”
After opening for Maroon 5 in late 2025, Rosincrantz is hitting the ground running in 2026, starting her own headlining run by joining Alex Warren on his European arena tour in April and closing out the summer at Chicago’s Lollapalooza. “Backyard Boy” The track that introduced him to the world in 2020 and has since surpassed 1 billion global streams. Now, to the 22-year-old, it feels like a lifetime ago. The RIAA platinum hit and MTV VMA winner for Best Breakthrough Song declared them worth watching, but my boyfriend This is the sound of an artist who has come full circle.
When I asked him about his creative inspirations during this season, he didn’t disappoint.
“Lately, I really want to take advantage of mama mia The energy, especially living by the beach, going everywhere in my bathing suit and being barefoot, it feels like this kind of music is the season of life I’m in. My mom came up with the idea of tapping into the Mamma Mia vibe for my next album.
For Rosinkranz, environment plays a huge role in his artistic process. my boyfriend It was written and produced across years, coasts and countries, spending time between California, New York and Sweden with collaborators including Oliver Frid, Eddie Benjamin and his father. “New York felt close and chaotic. Like if I go out to the fire escape, I see so many relationships, dynamics and friendships. I can just catch a glimpse of something and write a whole song.” She shares about her temporary summer home from a few years ago.
“In California, I wrote a lot of music in the mountains and looking at the ocean. my boyfriend fThe eels are very open and huge. “It feels like California to me.”
The album comes a few years after Rosincrantz’s health crisis at the age of 19, which greatly influenced the way he viewed his relationship with his craft. “That was a very vulnerable time in life, but it was a beautiful, intimate time to take advantage of.” During this, he revealed about his journey of self discovery. Songs on the album such as “Chronic” and “Bleeding Violet” take a look at more emotional, existential themes. They’re accompanied by playful bops like “Dime” and “Dancer” sung by a true lover girl. Overall, the project reflects the highs and lows of being a young woman today.
Her relationship with self-care has evolved over the years as she discovers what she needs to move forward down the road. She tested her self-preservation exercises while opening for Maroon 5 love is like a journey At the end of last year. “I need things to center me, so I meditate and pray a lot.” She tells about her daily routine. It’s also really important to relax and have people who really care about you. I’m still figuring it out. And I think we all are.”
love is like a journey It also gave Rosenkranz the opportunity to stretch his muscles as an artist.
“Performing in those arena rooms is a great opportunity to learn how to control such a large audience, especially in a room where you don’t have an audience. I learned how to be very sensitive to what’s going on in the room. It feels like solving a puzzle.”
Rosinkranz is sure to wow Alex Warren fans with her warm energy and relatable themes throughout her setlist of old and new songs this April. With Lollapalooza, Rosincrantz thought more about himself and his career when he performed at the festival for the first time in 2022. “I have lived more life now,” she admits. “I feel like when you’re growing up in the industry, the maturity and learning experience accelerates. Now, I’m making music a lot more grounded and intentional. I’ve just grown up.”
In an industry that can often prioritize the output rather than the person at work, Claire is testament to the magic of music from artists who lead with authenticity. As someone chronicling my own journey of balancing a creative career with a chronic illness, her story made me feel less alone in the constantly evolving entertainment landscape. I recommend listening to it in full my boyfriend Be one of the girls in the crowd, whether you’re relaxing by the beach or cruising the city streets in the morning.
