Bodycam footage has emerged of Tiger Woods’ arrest following a crash in Florida last week.

Newly released bodycam footage shows Woods, wearing sunglasses, as he kneels on the side of the road while police are at the scene.

After performing sobriety tests on Woods, Martin County Sheriff’s Deputy Tatiana Levner told him: “I believe your normal abilities have been impaired, and you are under the influence of an unknown substance, therefore you are under arrest for DUI at this time.”
“I’m being arrested?” Woods responded while standing on the side of the road.
“Yes sir,” said Deputy Levener.
After handcuffing Woods, officers searched his pockets and found two white pills.
“This is a Norco,” Woods said after an officer took out the pills, referring to a painkiller that contains acetaminophen and the opioid hydrocodone. Authorities later confirmed that Woods had hydrocodone.
The incident report from the Martin County Sheriff’s Office states that Woods had hydrocodone pills – used to treat pain – in his pocket and that his eyes were bloodshot at the crash site.

Woods said earlier this week that he was “taking some time away for treatment” after being charged with drunken driving.
In a statement he said, “I know and understand the gravity of the situation I find myself in today.
“I am taking some time off to receive treatment and focus on my health.
“This is essential to prioritizing my well-being and working toward lasting recovery.”
