Google recently announced that it is bringing more photo editing tools to users around the world through the AI Enhance feature in Google Photos. Originally unveiled for select Pixel models, AI Enhance is now being introduced to more smartphone models in several regions around the world. according to Google’s official statement: :
Did you notice the new button in your photo editor? AI Enhance is now available to Android users worldwide! Enhance your images with a single tap, instantly balancing light and color. Because your best memories deserve better than “okay” lighting. Output varies by device.
In other recent Google news, the company introduced its new Google Vids editor, which uses Veo 3.1 to generate AI-generated video clips from text prompts or still photos. It also allows users to edit their projects to include custom soundtracks created by Lyria 3.
That being said, Google’s efforts to integrate AI into all of its software products are largely straightforward, and the company is expected to reveal more once it completes its upcoming program. Google I/O conference on May 19-20 this year.
