Vintage David Miller for Delhi Capitals (DC). When Gujarat Titans bowlers sent half their batting unit on the field, the experienced South African batsman remained strong on the field despite suffering an injury.
The highlight of the match was Miller’s brilliant 6 against Gujarat Titans bowler Prasidh Krishna. Miller hit a powerful six on the ball of the experienced Indian fast bowler. After strong contact with the bat, the ball traveled 106 meters at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
Despite a valiant fight by David Miller, the thrilling encounter ended in favor of the touring team, Gujarat Titans. Titans scored 210 runs in the first innings and won the match by just 1 run. Delhi Capitals tried well, David Miller and KL Rahul tried their best, but could not save the team tonight.

Delhi Capitals captain Akshar Patel won the toss on his home ground and decided to bowl first. Patel’s strategy proved to be perfect when his fast bowler Mukesh Kumar took the wicket of Gujarat Titans opener Sai Sudarshan early in the first innings. After Sudarshan’s dismissal, Jos Buttler performed brilliantly tonight and scored 52 runs in 27 balls. After the fireworks by the England internationals, GT captain Shubman Gill and Washington Sundar played their part well to maintain the momentum provided by Jos Buttler. Shubman Gill played an inning of 70 runs. The opening batsman hit four fours and five sixes in his 45-ball innings. On the other hand, Washington Sundar scored 55 runs on 32 runs. Batting first, Gujarat Titans scored 210 for 4 in 20 overs, leaving Delhi Capitals in a challenging position.
