Nico Clocks is an artist and YouTuber whose channel, full of true crime and “cemetery exploration” content, has nearly 7,000 subscribers.
He is also a convicted murderer and self-described cannibal, necrophiliac and devil-worshipper who is perhaps more widely recognized as the “Vampire of Paris”.
It was the winter of 1994 in the French capital and authorities had noticed a significant increase in the number of gay men being killed in the city of love.
That October, he had documented seven separate cases, leading detectives to suspect that they were facing a sadistic serial killer.
According to the report, one of these murders was that of 34-year-old classical musician and restaurateur Thierry Bissonnier. daily star.
The two met online and Bissonnier welcomed Klocks to his residence. Once inside, Klocks repeatedly fired a 22-caliber handgun at Bissonnier and “watched him bleed to death on the carpet.”

Authorities arrested 22-year-old Clox outside the famous Moulin Rouge a month later, after Bissonnier attempted to purchase a video recorder using theft and forged bank checks.
Investigating Cloux’s residence, French officials were horrified. Inside they found bone fragments, which Klocks later claimed to have excavated from local cemeteries, bags of blood he had stolen from the hospital where he was employed, and violent S&M publications.
Klocks admitted to authorities that he had been troubled by fantasies of death, cannibalism, and necrophilia since the age of 10, when he saw his grandfather die suddenly during a brawl.
He claimed that he had murdered Bissonnier only for the purpose of taking parts of her body home to prepare and consume.
What’s even more worrying is that he told the police that cannibalism is nothing new to him. He revealed that he started breaking into cemeteries at around the age of 16, where he would desecrate and mutilate corpses.
At the age of about 20, he managed to secure employment as a mortuary attendant.

He said: “After autopsies I would be left alone with the body to put stitches, which was my speciality. That’s when I started eating strips of muscle from the body.
“I always looked at their medical files first. I once talked to a butcher who told me it was better to eat meat three or four days after death. It was something I had always dreamed of doing, and this was an opportunity to do it on a regular basis.
“Sometimes I would bring home select meats with me to cook, but my preference was to eat them raw. It tasted like tartar steak, or carpaccio.
“The big muscles of the thighs and back were nice.”
He further claimed that he took advantage of his access as a mortuary employee to steal bags of blood, which he would take home to consume.
Klocks was convicted of a single count of murder, yet due to his “diminished responsibility” he received only a 12-year sentence.
Following his release in 2002, he published a book titled The Cannibal Cookbook and appeared on the podcast Anything Goes with James English, whose host, 42-year-old James English, was recently accused of “assaulting” his pregnant ex-girlfriend. Klocks told the English that consuming human flesh was not about taste, but about “the rush, the sensation.”
He further said, “It was constantly exciting and stimulating me. The goal was not to kill just for the sake of killing. It was to get meat. Because I was already eating small pieces of meat in the morgue and I had developed this craving.
“I wanted to kill to cut the meat so I could take the meat home.”
Nevertheless, police highlight that Cloux never uncovered any evidence of attempting to cannibalize Bissonnier, nor was he convicted of aggravated robbery, as he says.
The sadistic killer has since faced accusations of exaggerating his own crimes to gain notoriety and attention.
