Adidas and Miyu are back with a new collection this time in celebration of the upcoming World Cup. This release marks their second collaboration, following their first campaign starring Gabriette and Devon Lee Carlson.
Inspired by soccer aesthetics, the duo continues to put their distinctly feminine spin on traditional sportswear, offering a different approach to sideline style. As they shared in a press release: “Remembering the early 2000s, the second collaborative collection between adidas Originals and Miyuu pays homage to the glamor and feminism of the off-pitch style that turned support for footballers into a cultural statement.”
The line features an updated Megaride silhouette, available in two colors: silver with orange accents and baby blue with silver accents. Other pieces include a corset, a Jerseys, and nylon track pants that re-imagine the classic soccer tracksuit.
The campaign was shot to resemble paparazzi photos, featuring football player Riccardo Calafiori and model Alison Dubé. For the launch, the brands hosted a party at the Red Lion Tavern in Los Angeles. Below, see the campaign and shop the capsule collection.
