Cement company Lafarge and eight of its former employees were found guilty in a French court of financing ISIL. Former CEO Bruno Laffont was sentenced to six years in prison. Prosecutors said he paid millions to armed groups to keep the Syrian plant running. Al Jazeera’s Natacha Butler explains the decision.
