Priyanka Chopra is mourning the sudden death of “Queen of Bollywood” Asha Bhosle.
The Bollywood diva took to her Instagram handle to pay an emotional tribute to the legendary singer, reflecting on Asha’s impact on her life and Indian music.
Priyanka wrote, “There are some losses that feel like losing a piece of your childhood, your memories, your home. Asha ji was that for many of us.”
He further wrote, “His voice was not just a part of Indian music, it was part of the background of our lives. It rang in our homes growing up, through family gatherings, through heartbreak, through joy, through quiet and loud moments that became memories before we even realised.”

“For my generation and many before and after, she wasn’t just a legend we admired, she was an enduring figure,” Priyanka wrote. “A voice so eternal it seems as if it will last forever. It’s hard to put into words what it means to lose someone whose art helped shape the emotional landscape of an entire country.”
He further added, “Asha ji, thank you for giving us a lifetime of songs, feelings and beauty. For being one of the greatest gifts of music ever.”
Concluding on an emotional note, Krish The actress added, “Rest in peace. Your voice will live on where all true legends will live, always in our hearts.”
For those unaware, Asha died on Sunday, April 12 due to multiple organ failure at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, India.
