Google recently announced that it is rolling out new updates to Gemini in Classroom, which will now support all Classroom-compatible languages where Gemini is available. Available The update, starting this week, aims to provide teachers and students with localized AI tools for lesson planning and personalized study.
This update will allow teachers to use Gemini Tabs directly within the classroom to generate and customize resources in their preferred languages. These will include the ability to outline lesson plans, create quizzes, write informational texts, correct common student misconceptions, and translate material.
Teachers can also collaborate with the Gemini app through Starter Prompts designed for common teaching tasks, which can Help brainstorm real-world examples, simplify classroom activities, develop differentiation strategies, and even draft example or depth of knowledge (DOK) questions. Google says additional content creation features will continue to roll out in these languages in the coming weeks.
That said, students aged 18 and over in higher education settings can now use Gemini Tab “Guided Learning” feature, which will provide step-by-step explanations of complex topics, as well as other tools for practice quizzes and other study guides, including flash cards.
