Because while influencers and creators deserve their shine, executives, founders, teachers, and leaders are also shaping the world behind the scenes.
Simply put, we cannot become what we cannot see.
And this week’s Curvy Boss? He’s a blueprint, even when none existed.
meet Paulaska RamirezFounder and Executive Director of Generation Fearless and Fearless Impact Collective, a woman who is building legacy, impact, and opportunity while fully, unapologetically, being herself.
Paulaska Ramirez created the room she was once looking for
Paulaska Ramirez’s story is rooted in purpose, but also a gap she was well aware of.
“I have spent my career at the intersection of education, empowerment and equality,” she says.
As a first-generation Latina to pursue higher education, she experienced firsthand what it means to live in places that weren’t built with her in mind. That lived experience not only shaped him, but also shaped him Active His.
“What inspired me to pursue this path was the same gap I once had to overcome alone, a lack of representation, guidance, and resources.”
So she did what curvy bosses do best. He devised a solution.
Through generation fearlessPaulaska Ramirez created a nonprofit dedicated to educating, empowering, and supporting first-generation women through mentorship, scholarships, retreats, and holistic programming. and through fearless impact collectiveShe is really helping organizations walk the walk when it comes to inclusive leadership and workplace culture.
Her mission is clear, and it’s a hit:
“I wanted to create what I needed when I was coming up, a community that says, ‘You’re here, and your story matters.'”
show thoroughly, loudly, and purposefully
There’s no such thing as a “normal day” PaulaskaAnd honestly? That’s just the way she likes it.
From mentoring first-generation students on campus to mentoring organizations, planning retreats, grading papers, and walking on stage, her life is full of impact.
But what is most remarkable is not just what she does, but that How She is visible.
“Sometimes that means swapping out your sneakers for heels, putting on your bold red or pink lipstick, putting on your Miss Kitty glasses, letting your curls go big and free, and stepping into your stage-ready self.”
Yes, style is part of his armour. But appearance? This is his power.
“I show up by being fully present, leading with intention, and guiding the room with my authentic voice.”
And the owner of his place?
“Moving the unexpected, centering those who are often left out, and creating a little magic wherever I go.”

No blueprint? No problem.
If you’re waiting for permission, a roadmap, or a fully laid out plan… this is your sign.
Because Paulaska Ramirez didn’t have one.
“One of the biggest challenges I faced was that I didn’t have a blueprint for what I wanted to create.”
Instead, she built the plane in mid-air, relying on her vision, relying on her values, and assembling what she calls her “personal board of directors.”
And here is the gem:
“Not having a blueprint was really my superpower. It gave me the freedom to innovate and create spaces that didn’t exist before.”

Representation is not optional, it is required
let’s talk about it.
Because Paulaska does.
“Growing up, I rarely saw women who looked like me, curvy, Latina, with 3C curls, in positions of power.”
That absence? It lasts. This raises questions about your belonging.
But now?
He Is Representation.
“When I walk into a room with my big and open hair, bold lipstick and unapologetic appearance, I’m showing the next generation what’s possible.”
And she’s not just opening doors.
“I don’t just open doors, I keep them open long enough for others to enter and move through.”
Wow! That is a legacy work.
Confident, but make it real
When it comes to confidence, Polaska keeps it honest.
This is not perfection. This is presence.
“Confidence feels like I’m completely showcasing myself, curls, curves, bold lipstick and all, and knowing that I deserve to be in whatever room I enter.”
And when he needs encouragement?
Enter the signature look: Miss Kitty glasses, statement hoops and a power lip.
Because sometimes confidence is developed in ritual, reminders, and realignment.
his advice? jump.

If you’ve been thinking a lot about your next move, he has a word for you:
“Leap. Do it with fear. Be a little confused but be strategic.”
Because true?
“The magic happens when you leap in before you understand everything.”
What’s next: expansion, impact and community
Polańska isn’t slowing down any time soon.
She’s expanding Generation Fearless with a new satellite office Fearless Community CenterCreating a physical space for first generation leaders to grow, heal, and lead. She continues to grow her consulting work and help organizations rethink leadership, culture and retention.
Its mission remains the same:
“To create spaces that remind women that they are powerful, capable, and deserve the life they dream about, and to bring as many people with us as possible.”
