After a series of teasers, Motorola has officially announced the launch date of the Edge 70 Pro, while also confirming several of its key specifications.
Motorola Edge 70 Pro will launch in India on April 22 and will be available through Flipkart, Motorola’s official online store, and offline retailers.
It will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme SoC and feature a 4,600 mm² vapor cooling chamber. The chipset will be paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM.

Motorola also confirmed that the Edge 70 Pro will feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, and a peak brightness of 5,200 nits.

The phone will come with a triple rear camera setup which will have a 50MP primary Sony Lytia 710 sensor with OIS. It will also have a 50MP ultrawide sensor, 50MP selfie camera and a multispectral sensor.

The Edge 70 Pro will have a 6,500mAh battery that will support 90W fast charging. It will run Android 16 out-of-the-box and support 3 years of OS updates as well as 5 years of security patches. The phone will also come with many AI features.

Other features include Gorilla Glass 7i protection on the front, IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings, and Hi-Res Audio support with Dolby Atmos. It will be available in Pantone Lily White, Pantone T and Pantone Titan color options.
