Donald Trump has warned the Tehran regime that the US is not done yet in Iran – but he believes the war is nearing an end. In a new interview, the US President suggested he would have to intervene to stop the regime from acquiring nuclear weapons.
And he said that the US Army has the military power to deal a devastating blow to the country. However, in a major update on future peace in the Middle East he said he believes Iran wants a deal.
Speaking to Fox Business anchor Maria Bartiromo in an interview broadcast Wednesday morning, Mr. Trump said the Iran war was “very close” to ending.
He added, “If I were to bet right now, it’s going to take them 20 years to rebuild that country. And we’re not finished yet.”
“We’ll see what happens. I think they want to compromise very badly.”
