butter yellow
“I first wore butter yellow last spring because my daughters were obsessed with it and I was totally obsessed with it,” says Bento. “We have very sweet memories of that color, so I’m happily bringing it back again this season. This spring, I’m styling butter yellow with blue jeans and beige and warm browns. It feels fresh but still very pretty — my way of borrowing a trend from my daughters and giving it a little more of a Parisian twist.”

polka dots
“Certainly polka dots aren’t new,” says Bento. “We’ve been wearing these a lot since last year, but I love when a trend sticks around and becomes a classic. The brand we all find our favorites at is Realization Par. My daughters started wearing these first, and I followed. Some styles are very sexy and perfect for their age, but others are elegant and remind me of dresses Julia Roberts wore this to a polo match beautiful woman. To me, polka dots are the ultimate intergenerational print. I mostly wear these as black and white or navy and white dresses. But this spring, I want to try the red and white version seen on Tamara. Quite bold. But why not?”

mickey mouse
“Mickey Mouse has really made a comeback in our wardrobes this spring, whether it’s a T-shirt, cashmere sweater or sweatshirt,” says Bento. “Salome has the prettiest cashmere version, and I immediately adopted the sweatshirt for myself. I love this trend because it feels playful but still stylish. It brings a cool, cozy energy to everyday outfits while still remaining dressy.”
“It also holds deep memories of the 2000s for me. I will never forget it Carrie Bradshaw is wearing a Mickey T-shirt with tuxedo jacket sex and the City-This is one of the fashion moments that impressed me the most in the series.”

colorful bag
“On a daily basis, I wear very simple clothes: baggy jeans, a T-shirt, a gray cashmere sweater,” says Bento. “Adding a colorful bag instantly changes the look and brings that fun, feminine touch that I love. What I love about these funky bags is how they make even the most minimal outfit look stylish and intentional. It’s an easy way to play with fashion without changing your entire wardrobe. And we’re incredibly inspired by it Jacob Elordi’s outfits recently. They have quite a collection of bags: colourful, big, small, crossbody, shoulder etc.”

aviator sunglasses
“A big part of the comeback of aviators, for me, is due to brands like Phoebe Philo and Khaite. They’ve styled aviator sunglasses so beautifully in their recent collections. It totally reminded me why I loved them in the first place.
There are some very nostalgic memories about aviators too. After years of tiny ’90s sunglasses, I’m yearning for the bold energy of the ’00s again. Carrie Bradshaw vibes. Tamara has been wearing oversized aviator sunglasses lately, and they look amazing on her. Seeing her style so effortlessly made me want to do the same this spring.”
