Katy Perry is facing controversy after Australian actress Ruby Rose accused him of sexual harassment in a series of social media posts, which were later deleted.
According to a new report, the allegations, which have been denied by Perry’s representatives, have put her relationship with Justin Trudeau in a difficult situation.
An insider told page six This controversy may put him in an uncomfortable position as he has been talking about supporting women’s rights for a long time.
The insider said, “They’ve been really enjoying their relationship for the past few months. They’ve made no secret that they really like each other, but this is really the first challenge they’ve faced since moving in together.”
She added, “Justin was known as a pro-women prime minister. There was gender parity in his cabinet; he’s been involved with these kinds of social issues, so that may have affected their pairing a bit.”
Rose made the shocking claims about Perry while commenting about the singer’s reaction to Justin Bieber’s set at Coachella.
“Katy Perry sexually assaulted me at the Spice Market nightclub in Melbourne. She does what she thinks,” he alleged.
“She saw me ‘resting’ on her best friend’s lap to get away from her and bent down, pulled her underwear aside and rubbed her disgusting v—– on my face until my eyes popped open and I vomited all over her.
“After I resented him, I told the story publicly but changed it to a ‘funny little drunken story’ because I didn’t know how else to handle it.
“Later she agreed to help me get a US visa. So I kept it a secret. But I told everyone that she was not a good person.”
