One person died and another was hospitalized in a knife attack in Burbank on Monday, according to authorities.
At approximately 6 a.m. Monday, Burbank police responded to a report of two people stabbed inside a home in the 2800 block of North Brighton Street, according to a news release from Burbank police.
Police said that two women were found inside with knife injuries. One died and one was hospitalized from his injuries.
According to the release, officers searched the area for the suspect, but did not find anyone matching the physical description.
Authorities said the relationship between the suspect and the victims is being investigated.
Detectives are scouring the neighborhood for evidence and reviewing surveillance footage.
The identity of the person who died has not been released until next of kin are notified by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.
