Ukrainian military intelligence says it targeted two large landing ships in Sevastopol Bay in Russian-occupied Crimea.

Ukraine and Russia have attacked each other overnight, with Ukrainian drones attacking Russian assets in Black Sea ports and Russia striking several areas across Ukraine, including the capital Kiev.
Ukraine’s GUR military intelligence unit claimed attacks on two Russian landing ships and a radar station in Sevastopol Bay in Russian-occupied Crimea. It said $150 million worth of ships were successfully attacked and radar equipment destroyed.

In Russia, Ukrainian drones targeted the Tuapse port, killing at least one person, injuring another and damaging transportation infrastructure, according to regional governor Veniamin Kondratiev.
It was the second attack on the port in three days, hours after the previous attack was extinguished.
Russia’s Defense Ministry said air defenses destroyed 112 Ukrainian drones overnight.

Ukraine reported a series of Russian attacks on Ukrainian territory overnight, including Kiev, Kharkiv, Kherson, Sumy and Zaporizhia regions.
According to Ukrainian officials, the drone hit a car in the city of Putivl in Ukraine’s border region of Sumy, injuring three women, as well as damaging two houses in Kyiv’s Brovary district and injuring one person.
Mykola Kalashnik, head of the Kiev regional military administration, said, “Tonight, the enemy is again attacking the Kiev region with drones. Peaceful people, homes are in sight.”
Russian strikes also damaged railway infrastructure in the northeastern city of Kharkiv, according to the Interfax-Ukraine news agency.
Ukrainian officials said that over the past 24 hours, Russian strikes in the Kherson region killed one person and wounded seven, while four others were wounded in the Zaporizhia region.
Since invading its neighbor more than four years ago, Moscow’s forces have attacked civilian areas almost daily, with regular attacks as well as sometimes large-scale attacks.
According to the United Nations, more than 15,000 Ukrainian civilians have been killed in the attacks.
There have been several rounds of talks brokered by the United States in recent months, but they have failed to reach an agreement to stop the fighting, a process further stalled by the outbreak of the US-Israel war over Iran.
Even before the war on Iran, progress toward a peace agreement in Ukraine was slow due to differences over regional issues.
Ukraine has proposed to stop fighting on existing front lines. Russia rejects this, saying it wants the entire Donetsk region, even though it is partly controlled by Ukraine – a demand Kiev says is unacceptable.
