Kimora Lee Simmons and her estranged husband Tim Leissner are officially ending their marriage after years of separation.
TMZ As recently as Tuesday, news broke that the former couple is headed for divorce after Tim, a former banker, filed for it in February.
​According to the document obtained by the outlet, the reason Kimora: Back to Fab Lane The alum and Tim’s separation after 12 years of marriage has been listed as “irreconcilable differences.”
Although no official date of their divorce has been revealed, it was reported that Kimora and Tim are living separately by 2022.
​A source told the outlet that the pair have been going through a separation for almost six years.
It is noteworthy that Kimora married Tim in February 2014.
Additionally, Tim has asked for joint legal and physical custody of his and Kimora’s 11-year-old son, Wolf Lee Leissner.
​The former model has two daughters, Aoki, 23, and Ming, 25, with her first husband Russell Simmons, while she is also mom to son Kenzo, 16, who she welcomed with ex-boyfriend Djimon Hounsou.
Kimora also has two non-biological sons us weeklya “bonus” son named Jaden, and 16-year-old Gary, whom she adopted in 2020.
