Now that we’ve unboxed the Honor 600 Pro, it’s time to do the same with the Honor 600.
Like the Pro, the Honor 600 comes with a USB cable and nothing more. You must provide your own case and charger.
So, how is the Honor 600 different from its sibling? Well, from the outside it doesn’t really seem that way. The only hint is that the third camera lens behind the zoom camera is missing – the Honor 600 only has one wide-angle and one ultrawide. On the upside, the 200MP main camera and 12MP ultrawide are the same as the Pro.

In the hand, it feels just as high quality as the Honor 600 Pro. Because it is – you’ve got the same excellent IP68, IP69, IP69K coverage and advanced drop resistance.
The Honor 600 also has a similar size due to the same screen and battery, so it fits well in the hand. It’s one of the more compact phones out there.

Specifically, you’re getting a 6.57-inch 120Hz AMOLED with a claimed peak HDR brightness of 8,000 nits and an equally big battery. Depending on your location, you have either 7,000mAh or 6,4000mAh (in Europe). Either way, the Honor 600 should provide several days of endurance.
The Honor 600 uses a 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC along with 12GB of RAM, and things feel nice and smooth. Honor’s UI on top of Android 16 is also familiar and powerful, with all the AI smarts you can shake a stick at. We’re not too fond of the Android manufacturer’s overzealous iOS copy work, but at least it looks good.

You also get the same camera key on the right side of the phone. This is great for when you’re out and about taking pictures with your phone.

The Honor 600 is an attractive proposition at first glance. It’s the perfect size, it feels well built and sturdy in the hand, the screen is high-end and it should last a long time on a charge.
We’ll have to do some testing before calling it a home run. So off we go!
