Prince Harry and Meghan Markle received brutal criticism from a royal expert after their recent four-day visit to Australia.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently went on a non-royal tour where they attended several events related to their projects.
The visit, conducted amid tight security, was described by some royal experts as a “royal style” visit.
Terming it a royal-style visit, they also said it lacked the scale and excitement of their 2018 visit when they visited the country as working members of the royal family.
Speaking on this, royal commentator Jane Moore criticized the couple for continuing to use their royal titles despite stepping back from official duties.
“Capitalizing their ‘Duke and Duchess’ titles to their fullest value, the Montecito grifters have completed a ‘Royal Tour’ Down Under by any other name,” he reported. Sun.
He added, “Remember when our late Queen – who would have turned 100 this week – told Harry and Meghan that they could not be ‘half-in, half-out’ members of the royal family and that they would have happily moved to America?
“Well, four years after his death, they are ‘royalty for sale’ and no one seems able or perhaps willing to stop them.”
