Trump hosted a health care affordability event on Thursday, April 24, but inadvertently sparked concerns about his own well-being as he appeared to have his eyes closed and his mouth scrunched up while others were giving his speech.
An X user shared footage in which the American leader repeatedly closes his eyes for several seconds and tilts his head to one side.
“Trump is waging a complete war against awareness because his eyes are closed and his mouth is down,” the user wrote.
Another commented: “Trump was snoozing on his schedule because of affordability.”
While a third posted: “Trump takes a nap in the Oval Office.”
The bizarre incident occurred as Trump spoke to reporters inside the Oval Office regarding the ongoing conflict with Iran, during which he was also challenged on whether he would consider deploying nuclear weapons.
Trump says, “No, I wouldn’t do that.” “Why would I need to? Why ask such a stupid question? Why would I use nuclear weapons when we have destroyed them so completely, so convincingly?”
“Nuclear weapons should never be allowed to be used by anyone.”
